Vodafone wins two Digital Communication Awards for “One for One” campaign, powered by Closing the Loop

Since 2022, Vodafone Germany has partnered with Closing the Loop to drive impactful sustainability efforts through our One for One service. Together, we’ve collected over 1.5 million scrap phones from Vodafone’s end customers, making this one of the largest mobile phone collection initiatives achieved by an operator in under two years!

To celebrate this significant milestone, Vodafone launched a comprehensive, cross-functional campaign. The initiative kicked off with a compelling documentary, followed by in-store materials, a dynamic social media campaign, and a high-profile PR event—all aimed at raising awareness about  One for One  and the positive impact it has generated.

Capping off this successful campaign, Vodafone has been honored with two Digital Communication Awards—one for Sustainability Communications and another for Corporate Social Responsibility.
